MYSORE PALACE, KARNATAKA, INDIA

Mysore palace is a world famous palace, situated in the state Karnataka, India which is also known as a Amba Vilas Palace.Mysore palace was built in the year 1912.It is the harmonious blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput and Gothic styles.


After Taj Mahal it is second most visited historical place visited by both local and foreign tourists.  
This is a three stone storied structure with marble domes and a 145 ft five storied tower.And this palace also surrounded by a garden which is so much beautiful. A royal portrait  gallery is also present here and you can do your pre-wedding photoshoot here.   

In one word, the beauty of this palace is amazing.   
Golden throne is famous attraction of this palace which is consist of main seat, a staircase and an golden umbrella and it is so gorgeous.

Kalyana mantapa is octagonal shaped hall where all royal birthdays, weddings and ceremonial functions are held and the beauty of the wall painting of this hall and decorations are mindblowing.

                       

                             DASARA FESTIVAL 

Dasara festival is the most famous and major festival of Mysore which is 10 days festival and starting with Navaratri and last day being Vijayadashami that falls in the month September or October.It is the biggest festival of Karnataka and the palace is decorated by thousands of light which looks just gorgeous.
During this time various musics and dance concerts  are held on auditorium around the Mysore city,From all over the India various musicians and dance groups are invited to perform in this occasion.


If you will go to Karnataka you should have visit this palace and it is the attraction of many tourists.You can visit this palace from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm everyday and the palace lighting time is 7.40 pm- 7.45 pm and time of sound and lighting show time is 7.00 pm- 7.40 pm.
